The
Land Rover Discovery was introduced in 2002 and comes as a
4x4. With
all the sports utility vehicles available these days Land
Rover is still the bench mark to beet.
The
Discovery estate has a lot of space especially for rear passengers,
although the 7-seater versions are a little tight in the back.
The addition of the skylighs in the rear give the interior
an airy feeling. All this means you, your children, your pet
dog, your suitcases, your shopping, your new dining room table,
your old wardrobe, your grandmother, your grandmother's pet
budgie even your kitchen sink can all be squeezed in in relitive
comfort. But because it's a Land Rover that isn't the end
of the storey, once in you can then drive them all up the
nearest mountain and back again.
The
Land Rover Discovery comes in 2.0 4 cylinder, 3.5 litre V8
and 3.9 V8 petrol engines or a 2.5 Tdi, 300 Tdi diesel. Available
in either 3 door or 5 door manual or automatic gearbox. All
models have perminent 4 wheel drive, power steering, ABS,
airbags, traction, remote central locking, alarm and immobilisers.
Better equipped models also incorporate aircon is standard.
