The founder of Citroen cars, a gentlemen by the name of Andre Citroen was born in Paris on the 5th February 1878.

In 1919 he borrowed production techniques which were widely unknown from another gentleman in the USA by the name of Henry Ford. Thus, within the year Citroen was manufacturing at least 100 cars a day. Over the years Citroen produced many different cars, and then in 1933 he pulled down his old factory and replaced it with a brand new one. Although Citroen have had a few changes in owner ship it has remained steadfast in its desire to produce some of the worlds most innovative cars ever.
